Be prepared for an afternoon of delicate and playful spirit that ends in intense passion. Manuel DeFalla’s ” Suite Popular Espanola” will take you on a musical tour of Spain featuring Dawn Posey on violin and Eli Schille-Hudson on guitar. Violist Lisa Humphrey will join Eli for Annette Kruisbrink’s “Five Dances” and the concert will finish with Johannes Brahm’s passionate ” String Sextet No. 2″. In this piece, Johannes includes a reference to Agathe von Siebold, a woman who he was betrothed for 6 years, but never married. Could this be the one that got away?
