BMC Night Beat presents Lisa McCarthy and Friends in concert

Bellingham Music Club’s season-closing program will feature Lisa McCarthy, recently retired from teaching flute at WWU. Lisa surrounds herself with close friends: Jennifer Weeks, oboe, Gustavo Camacho, horn, Pat Nelson, bassoon, and Kay Zavislak, piano, for a concert that looks eclectically exciting!
Different instrumentation takes us across continents from the Baroque era to present day with works by Alessandro Besozzi, Clémence de Granval and François Devienne, and American composers Alan Hovhaness, Joseph Goodman, Nicole Chamberlain and Brent Register.
BMC’s last Night Beat is on Friday, June 7, 7:30pm at First Congregational Church, 2401 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham. No ticket purchase is required; $20 donation suggested. All are welcome and students are always free! More about BMC on https://bellinghammusicclub.org/
