Brazilian Popular Music (Choro): Aug 10-14 for age 12 through college level, and adults. Learn exciting, rhythmic music; stretch your abilities, work on improvisation skills. (Strings, woodwinds, percussion, guitar, mandolin,cavaquinho (a Brazilian kind of ukelele- notes from low to high: CGAD)

Brilliant guitarist ALLESANDRO PENEZZI
with his trio from the San Francisco area:JANE LENOIR, flute; and BRIAN RICE percussion.
Percussion includes “pandeiro” which is like a Brazilian tambourine. Beginning percussionists may be included on simple shakers.
